How do i apply blush?

i want to give the appearance of more prominent cheekbones

do i apply under the cheek or on the cheekHow do i apply blush?
They now say to not put it under your cheekbones. They say only accent your cheeks, by applying a small amount on the apple of your cheek, when you smile its the puffy part above the cheekbone. If you suck in your cheeks like making a fish face, put it above the sunken partsstarting at your cheekbone that you feel and brushing toward your hairline. You do not want to look like a clown. Alot of women want people to see they are wearing make up. The prettiest women are those who are wearing make up but you cannot tell. Remember that. How do i apply blush?
on the cheek.

for sophisticated look, apply starting from the apples of your cheek slightly upwards towards your temple.

for cute look. you can either go horizontally out from the apples of your cheek and then diagonally downwards from the apples of your cheek again(two swipes)

or

hold your brush vertically and pat it on the apples of your cheek to create a slight blush.
apply it on the cheek and move the brush upwards while applyin apply it in a way like its circular on cheek n narrows in the end of ur stroke
This is the method I use:

Make your best fish-face (pull in your cheeks with your mouth) to stretch your skin as much as possible. If it doesn't look funny, you're not doing it right. What you're left with is the outline of your cheekbone against your skin.

Dab brush (ALWAYS use a powder brush for application) into your favorite blush and tap of the excess. In ONE sweeping motion, start from the area next to your nose and keep going in a Nike logo shape (as I like to refer to it) until you reach the area just beside the end of your eyebrow. I know, you may be asking why blush needs to go that far up, and the answer is simple. The whole point of blush is to accentuate your facial BONES without it actually looking like you're wearing anything. Blush needs to blend in with its surroundings, and if you do the one sweeping motion correctly, you will end up with cheeks that are highlighted perfectly without too much color, as it blends in besides your eyebrow.

If you still want more color, continue with the one sweeping motion again. ALWAYS start from the area besides your nose and continue outward. If you start somewhere else the second time, your blush is guaranteed to look blotchy.

After you've finished with your cheeks, run your brush down the bridge of your nose and apply to the tops of your collar bone. It will give the color a natural look, as if it is part of your actual skin tone.

Don't forget the fish-face! Smiling does not work for everyone, as the smiling pudge is not often directly over your cheek bone.

You also mentioned that you wanted a look of more prominent cheekbones. The color you use has a lot to do with how your cheeks looks. Here's a simple guide that I've used:

Pinks- Natural, baby's bottom glow. Great for daily wear. Not so great with a dramatic, heavy eyeshadow look.

Reds- Sophisticated, ethnic looks. Great for evening occasions. Not so great for daily wear.

Browns- Accentuates cheekbones for those of pale skin tones lacking color.

Bronze- Accentuates cheekbones for those of darker skin tones. Don't use in abundance. A little can go a long way.

I hope this has helped.

PS- Never apply blush under the cheek. :)
suck in and apply and then smile and blend:)
I don't really know how to answer this question (I don't wear make-up often), but I would suggest you consider going to a make-up school. You'll learn all about how to apply all the different stuff.
use a good quality large makeup brush and apply starting slightly on the apples of your cheeks the working your way up towards your temples
on your cheek, make sure the color that you use siuts you
apply blush on the apples of your cheeks.

if you want to make your cheekbones more prominent, apply a bronzer on the sides of your faces below the apples.
On the cheek
omg u dont knw how to pu blush on the easiest thing ever to PUT ON wel first smile and put it o the part that pops!!! omg
Depends on the shape of your face....if you have a circle face try under the cheek so your face to look more sharp....otherwise you can apply in the cheek.
im a makeup artist and your suppose to start at your temples and brush diagonally down your face, so it blends easyer looks more natural and doesnt look so overly applyed.
suck your cheeks in so you look like a fish. Then apply it lightly to the cheekbones. Do one brush stroke at a time because you don't want it too dark.
follow your cheek bone from your nose in an upward motion toward you ear.

run your fingers along your face, it is quite noticeable when you touch it.
To apply blush to enhance your cheekbones, you must have a blusher brush. It will generally come in a set: blush, brush, and possibly compact.

You will need two similar blush colours (one darker than the other, possibly a dark-light set), a mirror, and a blusher brush.

Smile into the mirror, making sure you can see all your teeth. The plumpest parts of your cheek is at the tips of your smile. Use the blusher brush to pick up some of the lighter colour, and apply it to the plump part, which should be just on top of the cheekbones. Use a circular motion, and only STOP when it has fully blended. Then, pick up the darker colour, and brush it in a straight line going upwards from below the circle, and towards the ears, about 1.5 inches long. Blend well. This should have the desired effect, as long as you've blended well enough so that you can't TELL you're wearing blush.
let ur brush strokes go upwards...........like from cheeks towards ears direction ..not upto ears ........ok?
on the cheek
on the cheek
apply it on the cheekbone starting in and out. I've been to a beauty school and the ';teacher'; lady said this ';cream blush applied to the apple with clever use of iridescent highlight t the high cheekbone creates a healthy look';. It also looks nice and elegant use a peach blush as well. Then again the shape of your face determines the style if you have a round face - Give an illusion of slenderness by applying blush in a sideways V on the cheekbones. Blend it well and add a bit to the chin. square faces - Soften the square angles of the face with dab of blush on the forehead and chin. Apply blush from the center of the eyes towards the cheekbones and blend.rectangular faces - Apply blush below the outer corners of the eyes so as to reduce the elongated square shape.oval faces - Apply blush to the prominent part of the cheekbone and blend towards the temples.
to apply: smile vthat your cheeks pop up or smooch relli hard and were your upper cheek bone apply there
on the cheek bones that stick out higher when you smile
