How do you apply blush?

where does it goes on your cheeks?


I always hear words like ';apple'; ';just above the cheek bones';





but i don't know where your ';apple'; is etc.


Please help!

Things You鈥檒l Need:





* Mirrors


* Blush


* Blush Brush





Step1


Select a color of blush that resembles the natural glow of your cheeks after you exercise. Consider having a lighter color for day, and a darker tone for a more dramatic evening look. Keep your blush in the same color family as your lipstick.





Step2


Consider the type of blush best suited to your skin type. Cream blush works very well for drier skin, as it can help to keep skin hydrated. Powder blush is better suited to oily skin.





Step3


Complete the application of foundation, powder and all eye makeup before applying blush.





Step4


Use a full, round brush for the application of your powder blush, as it will make for a softer and more professional look than the brush that comes with the blush. This should not be the same brush you use to apply your loose powder.





Step5


Place a small amount of blush on the brush and gently tap off any excess. Or, place a small amount of cream on your middle finger.





Step6


Look in the mirror and smile.





Step7


Place powder blush on the apple of your cheek and gently brush up your cheekbone toward your hairline. Dot cream blush beginning at the apple, and gently blend up the cheekbone toward the hairline.





Step8


Focus your blush at the outside of your face near your hairline if you have a fuller face. For high cheekbones, concentrate blush in the center of your face to accentuate your bones.





Step9


Blend a little blush down your cheek for a little more natural, less dramatic look.

..the apple of ur cheeks are the parts that stick out when u smile


..if u have a small face apply it on the apples in a circular sweeping motion towards ur temples if u have a round face, try apply it on the outer part of ur apples hope that helped..

What I do is smile like I am about to take a picture (teeth and all) silly I know but I know this works. Anyway you smile and where your cheeks go up thats where I put the blush in a slight vertical line going from the top of my cheeks to about my hairline...
Smile and those raised ares on your cheeks are the apples. Now u have found the apples of your cheeks. Now all u have to do is place your brush with a small amount of blush at the outer half of the apples and brush straight towards ur ear. Hope this helps
all i do is suck in my cheeks (so you look like a golfish;)) and swipe the blush from my cheeks right into the hairline

When you smile part of cheeks get bigger. That is the apple of your cheeks. Dust blush lightly on them and maybe a little below them. When you smile your face will light up!
Put it where you would blush. Like right were you can feel bone in your cheeks
The apple part is the bit which bunches up when you smile..


Go slowly though...too much blush makes you look strange.
