Blush help?

i have light skin, fairly dark brown hair, and green eyes. im just wondering what blush colors would look good on me. i was thinking maybe like a pink plum sorta color but im not sure if that would look weird. any suggestions are appreciated. application tips and brand and product names would be great too! thanks in advanceBlush help?
I would wear a peachy-pink, rosy pink or pinkish plum. When you put it on, be sure to put it on the apples of your cheeks, sweep up toward your hairline and blend it in well.

It might take a few tries, but blush definitely brightens your face and gives you a polished look any time!Blush help?
since ur light-skinned go for shades of pink and and soft plum
Fair skin, dark hair, and green eyes...you're an easy one. Pinks will look okay, but not fabulous. Go for brush on bronzers! I have the same traits as you do and I use bronzers by Physician's Formula. Now, it's not cheap! Always remember when it comes to makeup, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
slightly dark rose colored pink

did i say that right?
Ok, I am the same exact way, except with brown eyes that have a hint of green. The blush colors that I have found to look best on me are either peachy-pink colors, which look really clean and fresh and are really good for the spring and summer, and a mocha pink color, which are really good for fall and winter. My favorites are sorbet from Bare Escentuals (peachy-pink) and 20 mocha pink in the pressed powder form from Clinique. Hope that helps!
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR COLOR:

Blush has long been considered a beauty must. With just a few brush strokes, you can lift a flat or pale complexion to a pretty glow.

Step One

Consider blush colors that match the color of your cheeks after an aerobic workout. Such shades mimic your natural coloring and help you avoid having cheeks that look painted or artificial.

Step Two

Head to a department store and have a makeup artist assist you in finding a complementary shade. Check your options in natural lighting whenever possible.

Step Three

Remember, the darker your skin tone, the darker your blush should be. Women with fair complexions usually look best in pink or coral shades, while darker complexions are enhanced by wine or burgundy hues.

Step Four

Keep daytime blush light in tone. Opt for a heavier application to create a more dramatic evening look.

Step Five

Match the undertones in your lipstick to the color of your blush. If your lips are red, opt for a pink or reddish cheek color. For pink or rose-colored lips, opt for similar hues in your blush color.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

* Avoid choosing a color just because you think it looks pretty in the case. To enhance your beauty, it must complement your coloring.

* Consider bronzer as an alternative to blush. Applied to all areas of the face, it gives a sun-kissed glow without any damaging rays.

HOW TO APPLY:

The application is quick and the results gratifying.

Step One

Select a color of blush that resembles the natural glow of your cheeks after you exercise. Consider having a lighter color for day, and a darker tone for a more dramatic evening look. Keep your blush in the same color family as your lipstick.

Step Two

Consider the type of blush best suited to your skin type. Cream blush works very well for drier skin, as it can help to keep skin hydrated. Powder blush is better suited to oily skin.

Step Three

Complete the application of foundation, powder and all eye makeup before applying blush.

Step Four

Use a full, round brush for the application of your powder blush, as it will make for a softer and more professional look than the brush that comes with the blush. This should not be the same brush you use to apply your loose powder.

Step Five

Place a small amount of blush on the brush and gently tap off any excess. Or, place a small amount of cream on your middle finger.

Step Six

Look in the mirror and smile.

Step Seven

Place powder blush on the apple of your cheek and gently brush up your cheekbone toward your hairline. Dot cream blush beginning at the apple, and gently blend up the cheekbone toward the hairline.

Step Eight

Focus your blush at the outside of your face near your hairline if you have a fuller face. For high cheekbones, concentrate blush in the center of your face to accentuate your bones.

Step Nine

Blend a little blush down your cheek for a little more natural, less dramatic look.

Tips %26amp; Warnings

* For rosier cheeks, consider gel or liquid tints. Wash your hands after use, as these products may stain the hands.

* Remember that the lighter your skin tone, the lighter your blush color should be.

* Wash brushes regularly with a makeup remover or nonsoap cleanser.

* Avoid following the underside of your cheekbones, which makes for an artificial and unbecoming look.

BEST PRODUCTS:

The right blush during the right time of day is key. But how to pick the perfect blush? Should you go powder, cream, tint, shimmer or gel? There are many different types out there so here I run down the 5 main types so you can choose what kind you need %26amp; when (day or night?)!

Powder Blush

Powder blush is great for all skin types, but best for oily skin and anyone looking for long-lasting color (it's the densest of the blushers).

Cream Blush

This type of blush is best applied with the fingers. It's also dense, but lets your skin show through. Cream blush is particularly suited for dry skin because of its rich, moisturizing ingredients.

Gel Blush

Gel blushes provide a sheer glow. They work best on oily to normal skin and are hard ot spread onto dry skin since they are fast-drying.

Tint Blush

Like gel blush, tints are fast-drying and can look streaky over foundation. If you're going to use it, blend it fast and blend it well. Once it's set it won't budge until you wash your face.

Shimmers

These are great for giving a light gleam to your cheekbones. These are best for nighttime. The great thing about shimmers are you can dab them on your forehead, in the bow of your upper lip or in the inner corners of your eyes. But avoid your highly wrinkled spots, since these will accentuate them.
